Tu Di Gong is a local earth god worshipped in Taiwan as derived from traditional Chinese culture.

As popular Chinese deity, he is worshiped by Chinese folk religion worshipers and Taoists. God of Earth Temple in Linjhong Village worshiped the God of Earth. God of Earth Temple is located in the downtown and near the railway. People believed the effects of God. He can bring happiness, get away disasters and have countless merits. In China, every village had a shrine to Tu Di Gong.

    Youth Day in Taiwan - March 29

    Taiwan Youth Day is a youth-oriented Catholic Church event in Taiwan, organized by Youth Desk of Chinese Regional Bishops' Conference.

    Seven dioceses in Taiwan take turn to plan and execute Taiwan Youth Day. In 2004, the first ever Taiwan Youth Day was created and it was decided to hold it every three years. However, in 2008, the Taiwanese Central Government decided to have the Taiwan Youth Day once a year.

    Children's Day in Taiwan - April 4

    Taiwan designated April 4 as Children's Day, pursuant to Article 5 of the Order to Implement Commemoration Days and Holidays.

    The holiday dates back to 1931 and since then schools often hold special activities in order to celebrate the occasion. Because of pressure from parents demanding to accompany their children in the celebration, Taiwan celebrated Women's Day together with Children's Day on the 4th of April 1991. Since then, the 4th of April has been known as "The Combined Holidays of Women's Day and Children's Day" (Chinese: 婦女節、兒童節合併假期). It has been a public holiday of Taiwan since 2011.

    Tomb Sweeping Day in Taiwan - April 5 to 6, 2018

    The Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day in English, is a traditional Chinese festival on the first day of the fifth solar term of the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar.

    This makes it the 15th day after the Spring Equinox, either 4th or 5th April in a given year.Other common translations include Chinese Memorial Day and Ancestors' Day. Qingming has been regularly observed as a statutory public holiday in China. In Taiwan, the public holiday is now always observed on 5th April to honor the death of Chiang Kai-shek on that day in 1975. It became a public holiday in mainland China in 2008.

    In the mainland, the holiday is associated with the consumption of qingtuan, green dumplings made of glutinous rice and barley grass. In Taiwan, the similar confection is known as caozaiguo or shuchuguo.

    God of Medicine's Birthday in Taiwan - April 19, 2019

    Since 1994, Baoan Temple, 保安宫, in Taipei has transformed the traditional birthday celebrations of the God of Medicine or Baosheng Dadi, 保生大帝, into an international cultural festival.

    Known as the Asia Pacific Baosheng Cultural Festival, a series of public events was spread over two months and overlapping with birthday celebrations of four other deities; Zhu Sheng Niang Niang, Mazu, Heavenly Holy Mother and Emperor Sheng Nong. 注生娘娘, 妈祖,天上圣母,神农.
