The Chinese Taipei Open is a HSBC World Tour Super 300 tournament, one of 11 Super 300 tournaments on the Tour. Formally known as the Chinese Taipei Open Grand Prix Gold, the tournament is almost as old as Taiwan’s history.
The Chinese Taipei Open 2018 kicks off on Tuesday the 2nd of October, and the finals will be on Sunday the 7th of October, 2018. The admission tickets may sell out quick, so we advise to purchase them as soon as possible.

Take the green line to the Taipei Arena MRT Station. Leave via Exit 2 which is right outside the arena. The entrance is just in sight as you follow the building round to the main doors.
The 2018 Taipei Dragon Boat Festival
The 2018 Taipei Dragon Boat Festival attracts people from all over Asia to observe this annual celebration. A spectacle of over 212 dragon boats, all with various colors and designs, will compete to see who’s this year’s fastest boat!
In addition to the main Taipei Dragon Boat Festival competition, there will be a variety of other traditional activities taking place. There will be dragon boat training sessions, dragon boat eye painting, an egg-balancing contest and a rice dumpling making workshop.

How to get there?
From the MRT: Get off at the Dazhi Station, exit 3. From the exit, it’s about a 20 minuet walk to the Dajia Riverside Park following the directions after exiting the Dazhi Station.
When does this event start and end?
It starts on Saturday 16th to Monday 18th 2018. The Monday will be a national holiday in Taiwan for the Dragon Boat Festival.
