International pianist Ivan Yanakov will play a recital in Taipei’s National Concert Hall. He will celebrate the 200th anniversary of César Franck performing his philosophical Prelude Fugue and Variation.
The program will also include Joseph Haydn’s lively and cheerful Sonata in A-flat major, Chopin’s Second Piano Sonata (Funeral March), and a series of pieces by Rachmaninoff, including his enigmatic Variations on a theme by Corelli.
