New Year’s Eve has always been celebrated by a countdown firework celebration at Taipei 101.

There has always been a countdown firework celebration to the New Year by Taipei 101. The display usually lasts around 360 seconds with around 16,000 fireworks being set off.

This year’s Taipei 101 fireworks display is designed with the theme “Towards a better future” in the hope of healing people’s hearts and also to drum up morale so that people in Taiwan and the international community can look toward a better future of peace, happiness, and a merry 2023.

🗓️ New Year’s Eve is an observed holiday, all schools and businesses should still be running as usual.
