Hi, everyone, I'm working on a project and would need a few people with one or more of the following qualifications:
>Knowledgeable about Taiwanese history and culture (including art and music).
>Knowledgeable about Taiwanese aboriginal culture.
>Knowledgeable about Taiwanese literature.
>Knowledgeable about Chinese literature, especially the literature that is still studied in and that still influences contemporary Taiwanese culture and society (most likely anything from ancient Chinese literature up to the Cultural Revolution. Knowledge of post-Cultural Revolution Chinese literature is welcomed if it is relevant to current Taiwanese society).
>Knowledgeable about Taiwanese and Chinese culture and their overlaps and differences.
>Native English reading and writing abilities would be a plus, but near-native would be acceptable (will not be tested, but will be co-evaluated and discussed based on our correspondence as this would affect future remuneration).
>A working knowledge of Mandarin would be helpful (for all parties involved), but not necessary.
>We would also accept people who are interested in learning about any or all of the above topics and is not averse to doing solid, cited research in any or all of them.
Note that at the moment, we are still working on securing funding for this project (read as: This is currently unpaid for both you and for me), but know that once secured, this could be highly lucrative, long-term, and ongoing project.
PS -- If you have contacts and/or experience in securing government contracts/funding in Taiwan and or your own (preferably) English-speaking country, please also contact us and we could work out a mutually agreed upon finder's fee based on how the contact pans out.
